50% Glycolic (AHA-Alpha Hydroxy) Acid Serum from MaxLife USA, Inc.

This review is for the 50% Glycolic (AHA-Alpha Hydroxy) Acid Serum for Chemical Peel-Medical Grade from MaxLife USA, Inc.  I like using chemical peels to combat old scars, hyper-pigmentation and dead skin cells.  This is a strong formulation and needs to be diluted, with distilled water, prior to using.  You should also conduct a patch test to ensure your skin does not react to the chemicals.  Continued use of this chemical peel will accelerate the turn-over of skin cells and will help to eliminate wrinkles, stretch marks and scars.

If you do not have an application brush, a cotton-ball can be used.  It will take some time to build up your tolerance (yes, this does burn).  The discomfort dissipates as you use the chemical peels with greater frequency.

My skin is doing great and the old scars are fading.  It is important to also use a generous moisturizer after a chemical peel.  You will also want to use sunscreen and avoid direct sun.

You can purchase the Chemical Peel on Amazon.com.
